Daily foot relief right at the vanity
I ordered this acupressure foot massage mat and put it in the area in front of my bathroom vanity. It essentially provides a foot massage every day while I’m getting ready, which feels great and helps relieve tension. The 30 x 18 inch size is perfect for the space, and the pink matches another pink item on my wife’s side. The mat is made of a durable, non-slip material that stays securely in place on the tile floor, even in a humid bathroom environment. It features a variety of raised nodes and textures designed to target different pressure points on the feet. I’m hoping this will help with my nagging plantar factitious. Because it is portable and foldable, it’s also easy to move around or tuck away if I need to clear the floor for cleaning. It’s a simple but effective tool for anyone who spends a lot of time standing at a vanity or a desk. The build quality is solid, and it provides a surprising amount of relief for such a low-profile accessory. It’s been a great addition to my home and a very affordable way to add a bit of comfort to my morning and evening routines.

Sturdy mat with a variety of foot stimulation nodes
I got this for my mom who has plantar fasciitis and has been dealing with some discomfort. She’s had injections and special shoes and yet, the pain doesn’t go away. We’ve been looking at reflexology and acupuncture to bring her some relief. When I saw the acupressure mat, I knew this would help. I used to have a mat like this but it got lost during a move. But I remember how much relief it had brought me. We’re hoping this can be a good supplement in between her reflexology sessions. She loves it. She immediately placed it in her bathroom and plans to brush her teeth while standing on this mat. It looks cute and the pink is a fun color. It was expecting a skinny mat with some hard nodes, but this one is sturdy and thick. There are a variety of foot stimulation nodes and the sharper pyramids are especially reminiscent of reflexology tools. The one I had was so hard but this one is softer and more approachable. It’s good value for money for some much needed relief.

Ouch.
Who doesn’t like the sound of a getting a foot massage while standing in the shower or at your vanity? I thought it sounded like a great idea. The reality is much different. The mat is as promised. It is a large silicone mat that can be considered non slip. It has numerous acupressure points molded into the top. I don’t know if my feet are especially tender or sensitive, but all I can say is “ouch”. I am 5’2″ and 140 lbs and standing on this mat is extremely unpleasant to me. I cannot take more than a few minutes, let alone the recommended 10. I will say it is more tolerable having it under my feet when I am sitting, but I am short and most of my chairs do not place my feet firmly on the ground to be able to use this mat in that capacity. Besides, I really got this for standing. I was truly hoping to like this mat, but for me, it is not an enjoyable sensation and I don’t see myself using it much. I did have my son try it out under his desk, and he was not as averse to it so maybe I will pass this to him. If acupressure is something you enjoy and you are looking for a mat that is of good quality, and nice sized I can recommend this mat, but I don’t think it is for just anyone.

Great for foot pain relief/poor circulation in feet.
I have nerve damage in one leg due to a botched surgery. As a result, the circulation in one of my feet is not great and this foot can get cold and ache. I have regularly gotten foot massages that have an accupressure focus. I was a little uncertain whether this mat would ease my foot pain and allow better circulation to my foot. But it works very well! The mat is about the size of a smaller bath mat. It provides the perfect amount of pressure to all parts of my feet and the mat itself has numerous accupressure nodules. I have placed this in the hallway leading to my bathroom so I can walk on it every time I use the bathroom. I think this is fairly priced at $20 and definitely recommend it for anyone looking for some quick foot pain relief.

Not much to like about this Acupressure Foot Massage Mat….
First of all, this is a rubber like mat. when I looked at the description I could not rule out a form of carpet. It is more like that rubber that you used to see in mats that you would put in a bath tub, although I would not recommend this for bath tub use.I guess the mat stresses “Acupressure” but I would not walk on it for massage purposes. Perhaps a light weight person could tolerate it, but it was not at all soothing to me when I walked on it, even with socks at 6’3″ and 215lb.I don’t think I would consider lying down on it on my back either.Another thing this mat did if you were not careful in the way you took your stride off of the mat: It did bunch up and needed to be straightened, which is a bit of a pain. (and not just once.)I find it hard finding something to like about this mat. I guess the color is appropriate.

Grippy nubbed mat that stays put on hardwood but holds a curl from storage
My wife has been keeping this under her standing desk for the past few weeks and steps on it barefoot during long work calls. The material is rubbery with a medium-soft give, and the raised nubs and small bumps press into the arches and balls of the feet. Pressure is firm at first but tolerable, and she says it gets more comfortable after a minute or two of shifting weight around. The mat is large enough that both feet fit side by side with room to move. The underside grips well so it does not slide when she steps on and off. No chemical or rubber smell out of the package, and none has developed after a few weeks of daily use. It ships rolled up tight, and the corners kept curling up off the hardwood for the first few days until we weighted them down overnight to flatten things out. Wipes clean with a damp cloth.
