As a disabled veteran who uses a TENs unit regularly I really like this one!
OK I am reviewing this because as a disabled veteran, with several back surgeries I have been in pain, and have been treated for it for more than 25 years. I have taken all kinds of medication for my pain and have to take Morphine three times daily, but found that a TENS Unit is one of the best pain reliefs that I have. I have been given one by the VA Administration, but have always looked for better ones to see if they will work better than the one I have. This one does that! I got this so that I could try it out and if it worked better than the one I had I wanted to let my VA Doctor know about it. This TENs unit is really nice! I like the fact that it comes with pre-programmed levels for different parts of your body. Legs, back, shoulders, arms ect… I used this one on my back and on my legs, which all have pain at various levels. And I have to say that this unit did a great job at reducing the pain and relaxing the muscles. I think that it did as good a job if not better than the one I had from the VA. This TENs Unit has many features, It has a timer from 0 to 60 minutes various setting s for different parts of the body comes with 4 electrode pads also comes with batteries and good instructions Separate controls for the two sets of electrodes One of the things I did not like was the adjustment wheels did not have a way to lock them, so if you accidentally bumped or moved one while it was on, you could really get a surprise of to much power. 🙂 But as long as you were careful, not to much to worry about. If you have never tried a TENS Unit it works by interrupting the electronic pain signals that problem areas send to the brain. Also by causing the affected muscles to relax. SO it has varying levels of relief for different people. But as far as TENs units go this is a really good one, and the price sure beats most of the others.

    I have a torn muscle in my shoulder, and have had pain for months. The tens unit really helped minimize the pain, and I'm glad I invested in it. One warning, though, don't do like I did the first time I used it. It felt so good, I used it off and on all day, at varying strengths. The next day, my arm muscle was sore, like I had overdone an exercise. Now I use it a couple times a day, and haven't had any further problem.

    So happy my doctor recommended this to me. It has been so helpful in relieving back spasms! The pads are great and have lasted for 10 uses, they are still sticky, but I have bought replacement pads.

    This device works okay but it has some serious design flaws
    1. Lock doesn’t lock the intensity
    2. Intensity roller is too sensitive and changes too much than expected or unintentionally
    3. Only 3 types of mode
    4. Only 2 outputs

    Also the pads that comes with it are TERRIBLE and it DOESN’T sticky only after few times of use.

    This unit (and company) seems to be a step above the other options. I ordered a different unit first, one the seems to be used by many sellers but just with a different logo on it. It was defective out of the box.
    I found this one and it works great.
    Pros:
    – easy to use
    – looks great
    – great range of pulses, from feather light to intense

    Cons:
    – not fully customizable settings, but that's not really needed for home use

    Not sure about the longevity of the connectors. But with care, I'm sure they'll last a long time.

    When I first saw the reviews for this electromagnetic pulse massager , i thought it was too good to be true. Well, after receiving and using this product, I completely agree. The interface is simple and easy to operate. The stimulation is adjustable from 1-10 and you can REALLY feel that 10 setting. I have 2 herniated discs and a bulging disc in my lower back. In just my first day of use, it has worked wonders. I will continue to use this and would recommend this 100% to anyone in the market for a way to manage their pain using a muscle stimulator

    Have suffered SI Joint problems for years. This device is very helpful. Easily attaches, works exactly as it is supposed to. Very effective for pain reduction. Great instructions. Small and compact. The electrodes that come with it are perfect,, but there are only 4 of them. I would recommend that you order additional electrodes to have on hand. My Physical Therapist said that this TENS unit is an excellent unit.

    Two Dangerous Design Flaws

    First, this TENS unit works as advertised and has multiple options.

    However, this TENS unit also has two dangerous design flaws. It has a touch screen with a lock button. The lock button is turned on by simply pressing the button, fair enough. BUT, to turn the lock button off, also only requires a simple press. Meaning it is very easy to accidentally turn the lock button off and activating all other buttons unknowingly. Other TENS units I have used, the lock button once activated, requires either a double press or a long press to turn off. This makes it extremely unlikely that you would accidentally turn off the lock button.

    If that wasn't a bad enough problem, the second flaw completely disqualifies this device as a safe to use TENS device. The lock out button DOES NOT LOCK OUT THE INTENSITY CONTROL!!! That's right, even if you have the lock out button activated, the intensity controls are not locked out. You can accidentally change intensity from 1 to 10, MAXIMUM SHOCK!!!

    Think about it, you are relaxing. You are using this TENS device to block out some neck pain. You setup this TENS device for Mode 3, a very subdued shock, say 3 intensity. You set the lock button, lean back and relax. You reach for the TENS unit to set it by your side and accidentally move the intensity button to 10! Ouch. Or, accidentally hit the lock out button, unlocking the other buttons and hit one of the preset buttons, and instead of the subdued shock setting of mode 3, you hit one of the presets, some of which give a very sharp shock.

    This is the only TENS device I've used that has this design flaw and my advice, buy any of the others. This TENS unit is not safe, period.

    Not Very Powerful

    I bought this to replace my medical grade one, however it fell short. I turned it up all the way to the maximum power and it was not very powerful. if I turned my medical grade one up all the way, it would shoot me through the roof. So this is not for people who have severe pain.
