It’s both, but modes are combined; they do TENS and EMS together. All our competitors’ devices offer both TENS & EMS, but they only mention TENS – similar to us.

Do I need a gel to use this device?

No, you don’t need a gel to use this device, but we require Snap TENS Pads (they’re included with the device).

Is there a certain brand of replacement pads I should buy when the original ones wear out?

Replacement Snap TENS Pads can be bought on Amazon. We recommend the Santamedical brand.
