great for a stroller
This little sound machine is ideal for use when we’re out and about or when we’re traveling. I’ve found it great to attach it to our stroller when we know our little one needs some rest. The sound machine does a great job of helping to block out other noises or at least dull them out with white noise.The built in cloth loop allows for easy hanging and the included plastic ring loop means you can attach the sound machine to just about anything. I have it on our stroller’s side bars where they form an x. I’ve found that to be a bit better than hanging from the top handle bar.We have other sound machines and one thing I was worried about was whether it would be easy and intuitive to use or not. One sound machine I had would always speak the button that was pressed like “30 minute timer set”. I don’t need a voice when I’m trying to put the little one to sleep. Thankfully, this sound machine doesn’t do that and it has fairly big buttons as well. The timer is straight forward and lit so you can see which option you’re picking.For the most part, we know that a slightly dull white noise works for our baby so we just use that without really using any of the other sounds. Sometimes though, we’ll need a piano sound to help our baby fixate on the sound and I like that there’s some nursery rhyme piano sounds.In terms of battery life, so far, we’ve used it overnight a few times just fine on like a medium volume. It claims up to 40 hours but I always just charge it in the morning so it’s ready to go.

Good sound quality but a mixed bag of sounds
This iDealSleep portable sound machine has thirty sounds to choose from. It has a timer and remembers the last sound and timer settings. It runs on a rechargeable battery and comes with a USB charging cable.I like the sound quality of this device. It has a lot of the usual white noise and fan sounds. It has a railroad train. The musical melodies are very pretty and most of the nature sounds are realistic. I like the thunderstorm best. Where the sounds fail is with the rain options, which sound more like harsh static. There’s a baby shush sound that is anything but soothing. There’s a water drip sound, if you can imagine that. It’s not exactly something I would want to listen to as I try to fall asleep. The user guide includes the list of all the sounds in order, which help me find the one I’m looking for. Although the product description says the sounds are not on a loop, they actually are. In the nature sounds, I hear the same pattern over and over. It would have been better if the sounds were random. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, but the fact that they are located on the side of the device means that I accidentally push a button when I pick it up. The timers work accurately. The device charges quickly and can last up to 30 hours before needing to recharge. It has a loop and a ring clip to fasten it to the handle of a stroller or other small handle, making it easy to carry anywhere.The sound machine has sound choices for everyone, and is useful to shut out background noises when trying to fall asleep. It’s reasonably priced. Recommended.

Small and convenient
This portable sound machine is small, easy portable and convenient! I like that it is chargeable and wireless, so it is easy to take on-the-go and use away from home, or where an outlet is not easily available. My teen daughter uses it to help drown out household noise and help her sleep, but I can also see it being used for an infant while traveling, or in a car seat or stroller. The volume and speaker has enough power to allow it to be easily heard from several feet away. There is a nice variety of soothing sounds, including our favorite, brown noise. The timer helps extend the battery life, and shuts off automatically after the chosen amount of time. Overall we are very pleased with this tiny white noise machine!

Small but mighty
This sound machine is so small but packs a loud sound! It is more powerful than I anticipated. I was very impressed right away with the variety of sounds it has too. If one sound doesn’t work for your baby, there is such a range of sounds that you’ll be able to find what you need. This would also work great for traveling adults who rely on sound machines while in hotels. The battery life is great and it seems to charge up fast as well. It lasts long enough to get my kid to sleep for 3 nights before I have to charge it again. The small size and clip makes it easy to carry in a stroller so you can have reliable sleep sounds no matter where you are. It is the perfect sleep aid for any parent with a newborn.
