SANSI is a trusted name in lighting
If you’re going to experiment with red light therapy please purchase from a respected supplier like Sansi…SANSI has been in business over 30 years and makes really awesome grow lights that I’ve been using for years, so I trust them….There is a lot of research on red light therapy and wound healing… It’s interesting stuff because basically the red light increases cell energy. With more cell energy your body heals faster by stimulating tissue repair.(think acne lesions, psoriasis, cuts, etc.) More cell energy also allows for needed muscle repair from exercise or injury.The unit collapses easily when not needed (keep the box) And, the height is adjustable, so if you are laying down, sitting or standing you can adjust it…. It’s not exactly lighweight, which is a good thing.. It’s a little less than 19lbs.At $80 the price is more than fair …It’s a nice gift for a girlfriend who won’t buy for herselfI’ve been using it 3x week for 20 minutes on my face/neck for the past 6weeks… I DO notice a slight difference in the skin on my face. I’m really white so any sort of pimple jumps out at you. In 6weeks I see a difference.. The skin looks smoother with less red markings..I am not using the light for pain therapy so I cannot tell you if it works for that. However, research leans toward it working.. Another reviewer might have an opinion on that..There are a lot of articles online regarding medical research on red light therapy.. I suggest you read at least 5 of them so you can decide if red light therapy is for you..

Decent priced red light therapy lamp

This lamp is the real deal for Red Light Therapy
The SANSI Red Light Therapy Adjustable Stand looks like a swing arm lamp, until you turn it on. Then it’s true purpose is revealed with the red LEDs. I got it because I live in northern Idaho. Light, especially in winter, is a precious commodity.I started by reading all the assembly instruction, the operating instructions and the warnings. SANSI makes it abundantly clear that this is not a toy. Assembly was easy. The lamp is heavy. I needed to be careful (as the instruction warn). And my patience was rewarded with a solid floor lamp. I chose to use all the segments as I lie on my bed while using the lamp. The swing arm part has a limited range. The lamp is stable throughout that range. The power cord remains outside the pole. It has a simple on/off switch.The actual control is done via the remote control. The switch on the cord gives me a way to be sure the lamp safely remains off. The remote is easy to understand. It is used to set the R/IR light and the timer. I like that I am given only timer settings for “on”. I cannot turn it on and leave it on indefinitely. I LOVE the sunglasses. I was worried about safety. SANSI has clearly thought this one out.I don’t know how much of an impact Red Light Therapy will have for me. The SANSI lamp gives me a way to safely and effectively find out. And it is easy to use.At the time of review, the SANISI Red Light Therapy Adjustable Stand is a great deal. The price is very good for this quality.
